The handicap numbers for today's card in one table — what each horse is rated now, the mark it last won off, how far below that it runs today, and the handicapper's most recent move. Sort it, filter it, and click through to the race.

ℹ️Facts about ratings, not selections. Every column here is an official rating or the arithmetic between two of them. A low mark is context for your own research — it is not a view on whether a horse will win, and nothing here is betting advice.

Reading the board

Every runner in a British or Irish handicap carries an official rating (OR) set by the handicapper. Win, and the mark usually goes up; run poorly enough for long enough, and it comes down. The gap between what a horse is rated today and what it was rated when it last won is the thing most people are actually looking for.

OR: The mark the horse runs off today.
Last win: The mark it was rated when it last won a race. Blank if it has never won, or never won off a published mark.
Lbs below: Last win minus today's OR. A positive number means it runs today from a lower mark than the one it won off — the "well in" case. Negative means it is rated higher now than when it last won.
Mark chg: How the mark has moved since its last run. Negative (green) means the handicapper has eased it; positive (red) means it has gone up.
Class: Class move against its last run. A positive number is a drop in grade — class 4 to class 5 shows as +1.

Marks lists which of the board's categories the horse triggered. Career-low mark means today's OR is at or below the lowest it has ever raced off. Pattern dropper means it drops out of Group or Listed company into a handicap. C&D winner means it has won over this course and distance before.

The board defaults to handicaps, since that is where a mark decides the weight carried. Turn off Handicaps only to see qualifying runners in every race type. An empty board is a normal result on a quiet day.
