🔥 The Heat Check: who is in form, with the working shown — Every morning, before racing, we publish one snapshot of which trainers and jockeys are in form in Britain and Ireland, and the page reads from it all day. It is built from completed results only: the last 14 full racing days, ending the day before, so today’s races never count. Three labels — One to Watch (20–29%), In Form (30–39%) and Red Hot (40%+) — and every label sits beside the exact wins and runs, because “3 from 8” and “30 from 80” are different stories. Labels are tested on the exact wins and runs, and percentages are rounded down, so a 39.9% record is never shown as 40%. Nobody gets a label until a trainer has had 8 runners or a jockey 15 rides in the window, however good the record looks. Non-runners, void races and runs without a result count neither as a win nor as a run.
Each row can also show the person’s usual strike rate — the twelve months before the window, shown only with 30 or more runs — and how far above it they are (“2.3× usual”), so a yard that always wins 25% isn’t mistaken for one that has just caught fire. A/E sits alongside: winners divided by the winners the starting prices implied once the bookmakers’ margin is removed, where 1.00 is exactly what the market expected. It is left out when the market expected too few winners to compare. Open a row for their runners today, each linked to its race and naming the other half of the partnership, with a flag when both are in form.
Hot trainer and jockey combinations lists today’s runners whose trainer and jockey each qualify on their own — one card per pairing, so one busy partnership can’t fill the page — and a meeting in the spotlight picks out the track with the most declared runners from qualifying people. Non-runners and jockey changes are struck through with the reason. Search by name, filter by Great Britain or Ireland, Flat or jumps, or meeting, show only people running today, show the top five or the full board, and sort by strike rate, wins, runs, A/E, how far above usual, or name. Every choice is kept in the address, so a link shares exactly what you were looking at and Back works. It is laid out as a single column on a phone, and the labels are words as well as colours.
Each day’s Heat Check is saved once and never edited. If something has to be corrected, a new revision is published with the reason on the page and the original stays readable; results that arrive later are never slipped into an earlier day. The last 30 are in the archive, each exactly as it appeared that morning, and the same snapshot feeds the card we post on Telegram, which is checked against it so the page and the post cannot show different numbers. If the day’s Heat Check has not published yet, or is running late, the page says so rather than showing yesterday’s as if it were today’s. Recent form describes what has happened. It is not a forecast, and a name on the board is not a selection.
🧠 The Intelligence hub — Intelligence now has a home of its own on the top bar. It opens on Today’s Intelligence: the hottest trainer, the hottest jockey, the top pairing and the meeting in the spotlight, each with its sample and the plain rule that put it there — no blended “confidence” number, because that would be an invented statistic. Below are the products: the Heat Check (UK and Ireland, and USA), Smart Money with a live line such as “12 steamers, 8 drifters, biggest move…”, Race Intelligence and My Stable. Then the latest reports from the archive, and a methodology section that says what is measured, over which period, why sample size matters, what the numbers are not, and when they were last updated.
🇺🇸 Heat Check USA — The same board for US and Canadian racing at the tracks on our USA cards, from a snapshot of its own. Same qualifying rules, same 14-day window, same exact wins and runs. Where the countries differ, the page follows the country: the racing day is the New York date, post times are in Eastern with UK time beside them, prices are the tote rather than a starting price, a jockey riding at two tracks too far apart to be the same day’s work is taken out of their record, and names are matched carefully because American results carry no person ID. You switch between UK & Ireland and USA from the top of either page, and the hub has a card for each.
🎯 The Heat Check in the racecards, on profiles and on Performance — On the racecards, the Form view (and My Racecard, if you tick it) can put a small chip on each runner, such as Heat T 4/9 · J 6/19, with the trainer’s and jockey’s wins from runs on that morning’s board, linking to the Heat Check filtered to the horse. It appears only when today’s snapshot is valid, and Default is unchanged. Trainer and jockey profiles show On today’s Heat Check · 3/8 (37%) In Form · last 14 days when that person is on the board, matched on their ID rather than just their name, and nothing at all when they are not.
The Performance page now carries a Heat Check record: what became of the runners the board named, settled each evening from the results and saved separately from the morning snapshot, so what we said and what happened stay two documents. It is kept for every day since 15 October. Trainers, jockeys and pairings are separate records and are never added together; a dead heat counts as a win with the stake divided; a jockey change takes a runner out of the jockey and pairing records but not the trainer’s. A/E and the £1 level-stakes return at starting price appear only once a group has 100 settled runners, and are a description of past results, not a strategy. UK only for now.
⭐ Follow from the Heat Check, and hear about it — Every row has a star that adds that trainer or jockey to My Stable, the same follow you get from a profile or a racecard, signed in or not. My Stable has a new On today’s Heat Check block showing which of the people you follow are in form. And if you already get the morning Telegram briefing or the stable notification, it now carries a line such as Owen Burrows, a trainer you follow, is In Form — 3/8 in the last 14 days, 1 runner today. It is sent only when the person is in form and has a declared runner today, at most three names in a message, once a day, from the same snapshot as the page. If that morning’s Heat Check has not published, nobody gets a line. A switch on My Stable turns those lines off without touching your other alerts.
📈 Market Watch on Smart Money — Smart Money now says how old its prices are (“Exchange prices as of 13:28, 2 min ago”) and warns you once they are ten minutes old and the feed may have paused. Filter to steamers or drifters, a meeting, races still to run, and sort by biggest move or race time; the choice stays in the address. Each mover shows the time to the off, where it now stands in the betting and how much has been matched, and a price through the day: a half-hourly reading of the whole card from 7am to the last race, then the price now, with a small chart. A missing reading is a gap, never filled in. It records movement, not the reason for it, and not a prediction.
📑 Race Intelligence — Up to four plain-fact lines above a race’s runners in the Form and Market views, switchable in My Racecard under Race extras: where our top-rated horse sits in the morning betting and where the favourite sits on our scores; whether the AI score, the Racing Post rating and Topspeed all point to the same horse or split; how many runners have led in their recent races and how many are held up; and which runners have no rating, no form or no morning price. A line that cannot be worked out says why instead of guessing, non-runners are left out, and it never rates a horse’s chance. Trainer and jockey form is deliberately not repeated there, because it is already inside the AI score. Default, Quick and Pace & Draw are untouched.
🏇 Big-race days and jumps courses — All 27 jumps tracks now have a course page like the Flat ones, with today’s and tomorrow’s racing, the course profile and the Grade 1 to 3 races run there (start from the courses list). The festival blocks now switch on by themselves for any card with a Group or Grade 1 race, or three or more Group or graded races, whatever the length of the meeting. On those days the course page, the festival strip and the morning briefing add who’s in form at the meeting: the Heat Check trainers and jockeys with a declared runner there, with their records and up to three of their rides. Set up so far: the Cheltenham November Meeting (13–15 Nov), Kempton’s Christmas Festival (26–27 Dec), the Cheltenham Festival (16–19 March 2027) and the Grand National Festival (8–10 April 2027).
🔒 Older verdicts are free with a sign-in — Race verdict pages more than 14 days old still show the race, the result and the meta line to everybody, but the AI’s pre-race preview and its top three are now for signed-in members. Signing in is free. Recent verdicts are open to everyone as before.
🍪 Separate cookie choices — Analytics and marketing cookies are now two separate choices and both stay off unless you turn them on. Cookie settings at the foot of every page reopens them at any time; turning one off deletes its cookies, and we ask again after six months. Details on the cookie policy.
📐 A bigger top bar — On a computer the top bar and logo are bigger, and on wide screens so is the menu text. Performance now sits at the top of the More menu, which keeps USA Racing and Intelligence on the bar on laptop screens.
🖱️ Menus open when you point at them — On a computer, the Today, Form & Stats, Breeding, Tools and More menus in the top bar now drop down as soon as you move the mouse over them, instead of waiting for a click. They stay open while you move down into the list and close when you move away. Clicking still works exactly as before, and on a phone or tablet the menus still open with a tap.

September 2026

🏆 Festival pages that outlast the festival — When a big meeting is on, its course page is now the meeting’s hub rather than just a preview. Each day’s feature race shows its winner once it has been run, every race so far is listed with the first three home, the winning jockey and trainer and the starting price, and the leading trainers and jockeys at the meeting are counted up as it goes. On race days a live panel adds that day’s results at the course as they come in, the biggest price moves in the market there, and where the runners in the day’s feature race have met before. And the page no longer empties the morning after: for a year it keeps the meeting’s full results — York’s now carries every race of the 2026 Ebor Festival. Results, price moves and form lines are what happened, not tips.
🧭 Odds and layout switches, off the pages they did nothing on — Eight pages, including this one, still carried the fractional/decimal and Table/Cards switches in the top bar. On most of them there were no prices to format and no race cards to lay out, so pressing them changed nothing you could see, and they took room from the menu. At laptop widths that pushed two menu sections into overflow. They are gone from the top bar everywhere. On All Tips, AI Scorecard and Results the odds switch now sits beside the page title, next to the prices it changes, and on the last two it now changes them straight away — before, it only took effect the next time the page loaded. Your choice is still remembered across the site.
📚 Research guides — Ten free guides to the research behind a race: how to read a racecard, reading form, pace maps, draw bias, market movers, fair odds, value, trainer and jockey form, and My Racecard. Each one explains what the numbers mean, where they come from and where they fall short, then links to the live tool on today’s card. The draw bias guide shows why raw stall win percentages mislead, with worked examples for Chester and Thirsk. The methodology page now says what kind of number each figure on the site is.
🎯 Course draw tables say what they count — The draw tables on every course page group each runner by where its stall sat within its own race’s field — the low, middle or high third — and now say so. The summary above them uses the same tables, counts runners rather than calling them races, and says when a band has too few runs to call a bias.
🇺🇸 USA racing — There is a new USA Racing section alongside the UK and Irish cards. Every US thoroughbred race has its declared runners up each morning, with live and morning-line odds and the jockey and trainer for every runner, and each runner’s past results behind it: career, course, distance and surface records and recent form lines, from TVG’s published results — tap Form on any runner to open them. Met before shows which runners in a race have already faced each other, and how they finished. Tabs re-sort the field by one thing at a time — Track, Distance, Surface and Value. The model’s win probability and its top pick for each race land once it has scored the full card, at about 4pm UK. Two things worth saying plainly: there is no written race preview on the USA cards yet, and this is a lighter section than the UK and Irish racecards rather than the same thing in another country.
🗂️ Racecard views and My Racecard — Above the race cards there is a new View row: Default, Quick, Form, Market, Pace & Draw and My Racecard. Default is the racecard exactly as it was, and racecards keep opening in it unless you choose otherwise. The other views read the same data with a different focus: Quick keeps to the runners and headline ratings, Form opens on each horse’s record at today’s going, course and trip with the head-to-heads alongside, Market opens on how prices have moved, and Pace & Draw puts the draw figures, the pace verdict and an open pace map first. My Racecard is yours to arrange: show or hide sections, change their order, choose what starts open, tighten the spacing, and highlight the horses you’ve starred or are watching. The views need you to be signed in, and your choices are saved to your account. How the views work.
🔗 Links to a race and a tab now open it — Switching tab on a race puts the race and the tab in the address bar, so the link you copy opens that race, on that tab. Until now those links loaded the racecard and went nowhere.

August 2026

📈 Today’s pedigree angles — A board at the top of the Pedigree Lab’s day view for the things you’d otherwise have to open every race to find: runners bred for the conditions, sires who are specialists on today’s ground, crosses outperforming the sire’s own record, trainers who do better with a sire than that sire does overall, first-season sires with nothing to read yet, and runners the pedigree is against. Every row states the number that fired it, so you can check it rather than take it on trust, and every row jumps straight to its race. An angle that finds nobody today doesn’t get a tab — we drafted a course-and-sire angle and dropped it, because on a normal card it fires for no one.
🏇 Which going a sire actually prefers — A sire’s “preferred going” was simply whichever surface had his best strike rate, with no regard for how many runs that was. More than one sire in four had a preference resting on fewer than twenty runs, and the mistake wasn’t random: jumps sires kept coming out as firm-ground horses because a handful of runs on firm happened to include a winner. Saddler Maker was published as preferring firm off ten runs, against 1,168 on soft. A preference is a comparison, so it now only counts surfaces with a real and comparable sample — and where nothing qualifies, it says so with a dash instead of guessing.
🎯 “Bred for this” instead of “ELITE” — A runner’s breeding line used to read ELITE, STRONG, AVERAGE or WEAK. Two problems with that. It described the horse, when all it ever looked at was the sire and the cross; and it came from a model whose weights have not changed since February. It now says Bred for this, Suits, Neutral or Against, and it means something you can check: how the sire’s progeny have actually done on today’s ground and over today’s trip, against the population at the same conditions. A third better than average is “Bred for this”; the same distance the other way is “Against”. Open the row and it shows its working — which measures it used, and, just as importantly, which it couldn’t. One measure on its own is a hint, so it can only ever say “Suits”. On a typical card about one runner in eight is bred for the race and about one in eleven is against it; most are neither, which is the honest answer.
📏 A strike rate now has to earn the word “good” — This is the part that made the rest possible. Our sire records held the strike rate at each going and trip, but not how many runs it came from — so a sire who had run three times on firm and won once looked identical to one who had run two thousand times. Ocovango reads 21.7% on firm; that is five wins from twenty-three runs, against nearly two thousand on soft. Eleven per cent of those figures were exactly zero, mostly from a handful of runs, and the page was rendering them as a confident negative. The run counts are now published and everything checks them: below twenty runs we show the number and withhold the verdict, and the ground badge doesn’t appear at all. An unknown is not a bad result.
🧬 The Pedigree Lab’s day view, rebuilt — The Today tab listed a horse, its sire and its damsire as plain text. Nothing was clickable, the dam and the trainer were never shown at all, and on a phone the sire and damsire were hidden outright — a pedigree page with no pedigree on it. Every name is now a link, the dam and trainer are there, and tapping a sire, dam or damsire opens a panel inside the row: that horse’s record on today’s ground and trip, the trainer’s record with that sire, its record at this course. You keep your place in the card. Red flags — a first-season sire, a poor record at the trip — used to be hidden behind the arrow; they are on the row now, because roughly one runner in five carries one. There is also a Tomorrow switch: the card is usually up by about half five in the morning, long before the pedigree scores publish at quarter past eight, so you can read tomorrow’s racing the night before.
📏 Two numbers we were showing that we shouldn’t have been — The expanded pedigree report carried a “win probability” and a bar chart of what the model weighed. The win probability was not one: on a typical day the figures across a card added up to more than three times the number of races being run, so it could not be read as a chance of winning, and the model behind it has not been retrained since February. The bars were scaled so the smallest always looked like about 3%, and they showed what the model weighs in general rather than what mattered for that horse. Both are gone. The real data insights and the red flags stay, because those are checkable statements. Separately, a strike rate now has to have enough runs behind it before we’ll draw a conclusion from it: a sire who is “21.7% on firm” off 23 runs, against nearly two thousand on soft, gets the number shown and the verdict withheld. An unknown is not a verdict.
🔧 Two more scoring components that had never counted — Yesterday we found a recent-form component reading a field our data has never contained. Checking its neighbours found two more doing the same thing: class suitability (is the horse dropping or rising in grade?) and rating trend (are its recent ratings improving?). Both are described on our methodology page as things the score weighs. Neither had contributed a single point, on any runner, on any day. They now do. On a live card that changes the top-rated horse in 12% of races for our fallback model and up to 25% for some others. Two things follow, and they matter more than the fix. We backtested it over 2,554 settled races before shipping, and the result was genuinely inconclusive — slightly worse at level stakes, slightly better at picking winners, and not stable enough across the period to call either way. We are telling you that rather than quoting the half that flatters. And as with the first repair, we have not restated a single published pick: the record on our performance page now spans three different scorers, and it says so, with the dates. A record you can check is worth more than a record that looks tidy.
❓ Favourites under pressure, on the Today page — Favourites Under Pressure takes the shortest price in each race and lists the question marks it carries — a long absence, a step up in class, a yard out of form, ratings on the slide. It is one of the most immediately useful things here and almost nobody found it. It now appears on Today as well: each flagged favourite with its race, its price and its first few question marks, one tap from the race itself. It reads the same analysis the standalone page does — not a second version of it — and on a day when no favourite carries anything worth mentioning, the section simply isn’t there. Things worth checking before you form a view, not reasons to oppose the horse.
📉 What the market did, without leaving the race — The 🔥 and ❄ chips on a racecard tell you a horse is steaming or drifting, and tapping one used to open the Smart Money page in a new tab — answering the question by taking the race away. Tapping one now opens that runner’s own market detail, in the race you were already reading: the morning price, the price now, how far it has come and which way, how much has been matched, and how old that reading is. If we don’t have a morning price to compare against, it says so rather than showing you a 0% move — an unknown is not the same as a horse that hasn’t moved. The Smart Money page is still there for the whole market, one link away.
🏟️ Racecourse pages now open with today’s racing — Every racecourse page led with historic draw bias: which stall wins most over five furlongs, going back years. Useful, and not what anyone arrives with on a race day. Today’s card at that course — every race, its name, and the top-scoring runner in it — is now the first thing on the page, with the draw tables underneath where they still are. And on a day the course isn’t racing it says so plainly and points you at the day that is on, rather than leaving a link to a card that has nothing from that course on it.
⚡ The speed figure that was never there — Racecards carry a Speed column and a Trend arrow next to a runner’s ratings: a weighted figure from the topspeed ratings of its last six runs, and which way those are heading. Both have shown a dash for every runner since they were added, because the code was reading a field name our data has never used — the same class of mistake as the scoring bug below, in a different place. Of the 10,385 past runs on a recent card, none carried the name being read and 8,604 carried the real one. They now show the real figure, on the racecard, the runner card, the compare view and the horse profile. A horse with no topspeed ratings in its recent runs still shows a dash, because that is genuinely unknown rather than zero.
⏱️ How old is that price? — Every market number on the site now tells you its own age, in the same words wherever it appears. The racecard used to show LIVE beside a ticking clock — but that clock was your browser’s, showing the moment we last asked, so it looked equally live whether the prices behind it were thirty seconds or three hours old. It now reads the age of the data itself: just now, 4m ago, and once a snapshot is genuinely old it says so plainly and turns amber instead of staying reassuring. Smart Money, the Market movers on Today, the Value board and Overnight Gambles all carry the same label — the last two were already being sent a timestamp that nothing on the page read. And where a price carries no timestamp at all, it says so rather than implying it is current: an unknown age is not a fresh one.
❓ The favourite’s question marks, in the race itself — Favourites Under Pressure looks at the shortest-priced horse in each race and lists what is worth checking about it — a long absence, a yard out of form, a step up in class, a poor run last time, ratings on the slide. Useful, but you had to go and look. The market favourite’s row on Racecards now carries a small ❓ N where N is how many of those questions it has, and opening the runner lists them. Only the favourite gets it, never more than one horse in a race, and it is the same analysis the page runs rather than a second opinion. These are things to research before you form a view — not reasons to oppose a horse, and not betting advice.
🔗 Who has already met whom, on the racecard itself — Form Lines works out the earlier races where two or more of today’s runners have already faced each other. It has been its own page for a while, which meant checking it was a separate trip. Every race on Racecards now carries a 🔗 N met before tag when its runners have history together — on a normal card that is most races — and tapping it opens Form Lines with that race already in view. Open a runner and you will also see which of today’s rivals it has met, where, and how each of them finished. Nothing new is calculated and no new score exists: it is the intersection of form lines already on the card. Weights, ground and trip differ today, so a previous meeting is context to research, not a forecast.
📊 Trainer and jockey strike rates that were reading zero — Every trainer and jockey profile worked out its record from the finishing positions of today’s runners’ recent form — but it was reading a field our data has never contained, the same kind of fault as the scoring bug below. So every one of them reported 0 wins and a 0% strike rate, and on jockey pages the form table underneath was empty. They now show the real figures. Three of the question marks on Favourites Under Pressure — a horse stepping up in class, one out of the frame last time, and one whose ratings are sliding — had never appeared for the same reason, and now do. We have also stopped a handful of places printing a confident 0% or £0 where the honest answer was that the market had not been measured yet: those read “—” now, because “we don’t know” and “zero” are not the same answer. Neutral analysis, not betting advice.
📖 Six words, one meaning each — Standout, Smart Money, Value, Edge, Alert and Consensus had drifted into meaning slightly different things on different pages. Value was the worst: it meant a bookmaker price longer than the exchange thinks fair on the Value board, a rank comparison in one chip tooltip, a statistical ratio in the glossary, and — confusingly — it was also the label on the badge for a horse the handicapper has treated kindly, which is a different idea entirely. That badge now reads ⚖️ Well In, which is what it has always meant. All six words are now defined once, in the help pages, and the glossary points there rather than giving you a second answer. The rule that matters most: Edge always means a rule you built — never a price advantage, never the models liking a horse.
🤝 Consensus now says what it means — and a chip that had quietly stopped appearing — The Consensus page compares how our AI models score the same horse, but you had to know what a “variant” was to read it. Every card now leads with the verdict in plain words — Strong agreement, Majority agreement, Strong disagreement or Split — with the individual scores still underneath. While writing it we found the page had been describing a version of itself that no longer existed: it promised ten scoring algorithms and thresholds of “4 or more agree” when three models have been scoring runners for some time, and it was really applying two-of-three. Worse, the matching ✓ consensus chip on the racecards asked for four models out of a possible three, so it had been rendering on no horse at all. Both are fixed, the thresholds are now worked out from however many models are actually running so this cannot happen again quietly, and the glossary and help pages say the same thing the code does. Agreement is not accuracy — models can be wrong together. Neutral analysis, not betting advice.
⚙️ Page controls moved to the page they control — The odds format (F/D), the Table/Cards switch and the AI variant chip used to sit up in the site header, next to search and the theme button, on whichever page you were on. They belong to a page, not to the site, and they were taking up about a third of the header — which is why Racecards, Today and AI Picks folded menus away into More at window widths where other pages did not. They now sit with the page’s own controls: on Racecards, beside the date; on AI Picks, beside the page title; on Today, just above the ⚡ Find bar. Racecards keeps its full menu bar down to a much narrower window as a result. Two of them were also doing nothing where they stood — Table/Cards only ever changed the racecards, so it has gone from the home page and AI Picks rather than being moved somewhere it still would not work. Your choices are unchanged and still remembered across the site.
🧭 A header that shows you the site instead of hiding it — Most of what this site does was behind one More button: twenty links in a single unlabelled list, where Courses, Trainers, Jockeys, Track Bias and the Breeding Lab sat in the same pile as About and the glossary. A bigger monitor did not help either — the header stopped widening at a fixed point, so a large desktop had no more room for the menu than a laptop, and Performance was pushed into More and left there. The header now uses the width it actually has, and everything is grouped under a heading that says what it is: Today, Form & Stats, Breeding and Tools, with More kept for reference pages — methodology, glossary, news, help. If your window is genuinely too narrow, the reference menus fold away first and the racing pages stay where they are; on a phone the ☰ button opens all of it as one list. Nothing was removed and no page changed address, so your bookmarks and links still work. There is a map of it in the help pages.
🐛 A scoring bug we had been carrying, found and fixed — Six of our scoring variants read the finishing positions of a horse’s recent runs from a field our data has never actually contained. Recent form — the single largest component of those scores — was therefore contributing nothing at all, on every runner of every day. It is fixed, and on a live card it changes which horse comes out top in 47% of races. Two things follow. Where our flagship model has no score for a runner, the rest of that race now falls back to our best-measured variant instead of our worst — which mattered most in big fields, where the flagship had been absent from every race of sixteen runners or more. And the methodology page now names the date the scoring changed on the affected variant, because its published record spans two different scorers either side of it. We have left the older picks exactly as they were published rather than quietly restating them — a record you can check is worth more than a record that flatters. Neutral analysis, not betting advice.
🧪 Every scoring variant, not just the three you can pick — The methodology page promised ten scoring variants and showed three. It now shows all of them, each with its hypothesis and its real record: the three you can put on your racecards, plus the ones we score every day purely as benchmarks to test the others against — including one ported from a rival’s published method, and one retired for never having changed a single selection. Open methodology has to include the ones that lost.
🔔 Your Edges alert and the Edges page now agree — If you armed the morning 🔔 on an edge but hadn’t ticked it on the Edges page, the Telegram could name a dozen horses while the page said nothing matched. Both were telling the truth about different things — the alert reads every edge with the bell on, the page shows the edges you’ve ticked — but nothing said so. The page now names any armed edge that has fired without being ticked, with its count, and one tap brings its horses into your list. Two things behind it also got fixed: the Edges page now loads the live market with the card, so the 5-Step Guide’s market and rank steps actually count there instead of silently reading as false — which is why a “4 of 5” rule could never fire on that page — and an edge that needs prices before the market has formed now shows “–” instead of a confident 0, because “can’t tell yet” and “nothing qualified” are not the same answer. Observational — horses matching your angles, not a betting recommendation.
🔑 A reason to have an account, said out loud — Starring horses, notes and the bet log keep what you build in the browser you are using. What was never said is what an account adds: your things kept against your name, and morning alerts when your stable is declared — by push, Telegram or email. There is now a plain explanation in the help pages, and the site mentions it once after you have starred a few horses, written a note or logged a bet. At most one mention a day, and "not now" means not again. Neutral analysis, not betting advice.
🔗 Form Lines — where today’s runners have already met — Two horses in the same race today have often met before, and finding those races means opening two form tabs and comparing them by hand. Form Lines now does it for the whole UK and Irish card each morning: every earlier race where two or more of today’s runners took part, with the course, date, distance, grade, field size and exactly where each of them finished. Today’s Nunthorpe, for instance, has thirteen of its field who all met at Ascot in June. A record of what happened, not a forecast — the comparison is the useful part, the conclusion is yours.
🏆 Big Races — every Group, Grade and Listed winner this season — A searchable record of the graded races: Big Races lists every Group 1 to Group 3, Grade 1 to Grade 3 and Listed race run in Britain and Ireland, with the first three home, the jockey and the starting price. Filter by grade or search for a race, a course or a horse. It is honest about its own limits: the record starts in October 2025, because results before then carry no race name to group renewals by, so this is this season rather than a twenty-year roll of honour. Updated nightly once results settle.
🔍 How to read a tipster’s record — A new reference page on judging any tipping record (retired in September 2026; the research guides now carry this kind of explainer), including ours: the settlement price it used, how much of it is variance, what survivorship hides, and how to work out the random baseline a headline strike rate is quietly being compared against. It names nobody and recommends nothing — it is the five questions to ask, with the arithmetic shown so you can do it yourself.
📐 Edges can now filter on A/E, not just strike rate — The Edges builder has new fields for trainer, jockey, owner and sire A/E over the last fortnight: actual wins divided by what the starting prices implied. It is a better question than a strike rate — a 25% yard sending out favourites is ordinary, a 12% yard whose runners were 20/1 is not. Each A/E field has a paired runs behind A/E field so you can set your own sample floor, and nothing is published until an entity has at least 10 runs in the window; below that it reads as no data and the rule will not match rather than firing on a fluke. A read on the last fortnight, not a forecast.
⚖️ A marks board for the day’s handicaps — The new Marks Board puts the handicap numbers for today’s card in one sortable table: what each horse is rated now, the mark it last won off, how many pounds below that it runs today, and the handicapper’s latest move. Filter to the cases worth a look — running below its winning mark, back at a career-low rating, eased since its last run, dropping in class, out of Pattern company, or a course-and-distance winner. Every column is an official rating or the arithmetic between two of them: facts about ratings, not selections.
🧮 A bet calculator, free and no sign-in — There is now a bet calculator on the site. Type in your odds and it works out the return: singles, doubles, trebles and accumulators, and the full-cover bets people actually get caught out by — Trixie, Patent, Yankee, Lucky 15 and Lucky 31. It handles each-way (including horses that placed without winning) and Rule 4 deductions — put the withdrawn horse’s price in and the deduction comes off the winnings for you. Odds go in however you have them: 9/4, 3.25 or evens. Nothing is sent anywhere — the maths runs in your browser. It is a calculator, not a recommendation: it holds no view on any horse or price.
📮 Your Stable's day, by email — and email switches that go one at a time — If you star horses, trainers, jockeys or sires, you can now get the evening round-up of how they all got on by email as well as by push or Telegram: "Frankel WON @ 5/2 · Stradivarius 2nd", in your inbox after racing. It's off unless you turn it on, in your profile — where the email section now has one switch per email, so the morning picks and the evening Stable digest are separate choices. Every email's unsubscribe link now stops that email specifically; the others only stop if you say so. Neutral analysis, not betting advice.
✉️ A proper welcome when you join the daily email — Confirming your subscription used to land you on a page and that was that. Now the moment you confirm, a welcome email arrives telling you exactly what turns up each morning — and during festival weeks it hands you the goods straight away: the Formula Paper and that day's card. The confirmation email itself is more honest too: it names the page you signed up from, and you can now simply reply to any of our emails and a human reads it. And if a confirmation email gets buried in your inbox, we'll nudge you once — exactly once, a day later — then leave you alone for good. Neutral analysis, not betting advice.
📄 Festival papers — on the course page and in the daily email — For the big multi-day meetings, starting with York's Ebor Festival, we now build The Formula Paper: a free festival pack profiling the whole meeting from historic results, plus a day card for each day's racing. While the meeting is on, the downloads sit on that course's page (York's, for the Ebor), and if you take the daily email the links arrive with it each morning — nothing extra to sign up for. The meeting profiled from data — neutral analysis, not betting advice.
🏟️ Course pages now show today's races, not just times — The "Today at…" box on every racecourse page used to be a bare list of race times. It now lists each race with its name and the top AI-scored runner in it — so "what's on here today and who does the AI rate?" is answered on the page you're already reading, one tap from the full racecard. And when a big meeting is on, the course page dresses for the occasion: during Ebor week the York page carries the festival front and centre — all four days, each day's feature race, and today marked. Same morning-price AI scores as everywhere else — a shortlist to research, not tips.
🗓️ Booked rides up to five days out — Jockey pages now go beyond tomorrow: an Upcoming booked rides section lists each rider's bookings for the days ahead — up to about five days out — grouped by day with horse, time and course. It covers the busiest riders (the ones with full books), refreshes daily, and is honest about its nature: bookings that far out can change as declarations are made, and no AI scores are shown because none exist yet — they join a ride when its card is published. A factual list of bookings, not tips.
📅 Tomorrow's booked rides, the evening before — Every jockey and trainer profile now shows tomorrow's booked rides and declared runners in their own section under today's — horse, race time and course, straight from the declarations. Checking a jockey's book for tomorrow no longer means waiting for the morning. Late declarations (winter jumps declare the morning before racing) appear as the cards update, so "none declared for tomorrow yet" early in the day is normal — and AI scores join a ride when its card becomes today's. A factual list of declarations, not tips.
🔄 A tab left open overnight refreshes itself — If you keep the site pinned in a tab (plenty of you do), coming back to it a day later used to show you yesterday's card looking like today's. Now, a tab that's been open for more than 24 hours quietly reloads the moment you switch back to it, so what you're reading is always the current day's racing. It never interrupts you while you're using the site, and it waits if you're offline.
🏇 Who's riding today, right on the trainer and jockey pages — The Trainers and Jockeys pages used to open with an A–Z and nothing else. They now open with a board of today's booked rides and declared runners, busiest first, each with a count — so "who's got a big book at York?" is answered before you scroll. Tap any name for their profile, where today's declared runners are listed race by race. It's a factual list of declarations, updated with each day's cards — counts, not tips.
📧 Your email settings now agree with each other — If you signed up for the daily email using the form on the site and later made an account with the same address, your profile showed the switch off while the emails kept arriving each morning — and flicking that switch did nothing, because it was never connected to the sign-up you'd actually made. There was no sign anywhere that you'd subscribed at all. They're now one thing. Your profile shows the real state, tells you the date you signed up and where you did it, and turning it off stops the email properly. The unsubscribe links do the same whichever one you use — including the one-tap button Gmail and Outlook show next to the sender. Nothing about what arrives has changed, and nobody has been added to or removed from anything.
⭐ Star a horse, get told when it runs — Follow a horse, trainer, jockey or sire and you'll be offered a free browser alert on the mornings your stable is declared — right from the prompt, without an account. One tap to turn on, and if you say "not now" you won't be asked again. Un-star and the alerts stop. Neutral analysis, not betting advice.
📱 On iPhone? The picks alert now offers email too — iPhone Safari can't show the tap-once picks alert other phones get (Apple only allows it once the site is added to your home screen), so iPhone users were offered Telegram or nothing. The same card now has an "Email me instead" option: type your address, confirm from your inbox, and the day's AI-rated runners arrive each morning. Free, one-click unsubscribe, neutral analysis — not betting advice.
📬 The email signup is somewhere you can find it — The box for the daily email had drifted to the very bottom of the homepage and lost its styling along the way, which is a poor way to offer something. It now sits directly under the day's picks — where the information you came for actually is — and appears on the racecards, AI Picks, Today, Scorecard and Performance pages too. It's a proper form now, so Enter works and your phone shows a Go key, and it tells you plainly what turns up: every UK & IE runner scored, one email each morning, free. Neutral analysis, not betting advice.
📧 The day's runners by email, if you want them — If you're signed in, you'll now be asked once whether you'd like the day's AI-rated runners by email each morning. It's the same shortlist the site opens with, in your inbox before racing starts — useful if you'd rather not go looking. Free, one tap to turn on, one tap to turn off again in your profile, and every email carries a working unsubscribe link. Say no and you won't be asked again. Neutral analysis, not betting advice.
✉️ Unsubscribing actually works now — Two fixes to the daily email worth naming. Corporate mail filters open every link in a message to check it's safe, and ours treated that automated visit as a real unsubscribe — so a few people were quietly taken off the list by their own email provider without ever clicking anything. Unsubscribing now needs a deliberate confirmation, and the one-tap unsubscribe button that Gmail and Outlook show at the top of a message is properly wired up. The email also now sends a readable plain-text version for anyone whose client doesn't show pictures.

July 2026

🏁 We're now The Racing Formula — same site, same tools, new name. Tipping Monster has become The Racing Formula, with a new look and a line that says what this place actually is: Data. Form. Insight. Nothing about how the site works has changed. Every racecard, AI score, pedigree report, edge and results page is exactly where it was, still free, and still showing losing days next to winning ones — the performance pages are unchanged, including the numbers that aren't flattering. Your saved horses, alerts and Telegram link all carry over untouched, and existing links and bookmarks keep working. The address has now moved to theracingformula.com too — every old link redirects automatically, so bookmarks, Telegram links and anything you've shared all still work. You don't need to do anything.
🎯 Overnight Gambles — who got backed while you slept — Smart Money now opens with the horses whose price shortened 20% or more between our 8pm snapshot and the following morning, ranked by size of move. Two honest caveats built into the table itself. First, a horse must have £500+ matched on the exchange overnight to appear at all — without that floor the list fills with enormous percentages on trivial money (on a typical night, six of seven qualifiers had under £500 behind them, topped by a 47% move on £52). Second, every row shows its move relative to the rest of its race: when a horse is withdrawn overnight the whole field shortens mechanically, and that isn't a gamble — it's arithmetic. Because of the floor, most nights nothing qualifies, and an empty list is the normal result. A record of where money went, not a tip.
💰 Value — bookie prices vs the exchange — A new Value page showing where a bookmaker is offering a longer price than the Betfair Exchange thinks is fair. The fair price is the exchange back price with the market's margin stripped out across the whole field; the edge is simply the gap between the two. There is no prediction model anywhere in it — it compares two observed prices and nothing else, so it can tell you a price looks generous but never that a horse will win. We're being upfront that this is unvalidated: we settle every listed price against the real Betfair Starting Price and won't publish a profit figure until the sample is big enough to mean something. The page also names its price sources and says when one is down — so you can tell a genuinely quiet day from a broken feed, which is a distinction most sites never let you make. Overlays are rare; an empty board is normal. Research, not betting advice.
📊 Edges now show their track record — Each built-in edge on the Edges page now shows how it has actually performed: its strike-rate and A/E (wins vs what the market expected) over thousands of historical UK & IRE runs, settled at Starting Price and replayed with the exact logic the site uses. Being straight about it — most angles come in below the market (A/E under 1.00); these are research shortcuts for finding horses worth a closer look, not profit systems, and we show the honest number either way. Custom rules you build yourself aren't backtested, so they carry no track record.
⏱️ Alerts just before the off — Every edge on the Edges page now has a second alert option: Alert me near the off. Alongside the existing morning digest, you can get a Telegram before each matching horse runs — one message per race, at a lead time you choose per edge (2, 4, 10, 20 or 30 minutes), with a daily cap so a loose edge can't flood you. It's the setting to use for anything market-driven, since whether a horse is a steamer means nothing at 9am and plenty just before the off. Pick either alert, both or neither, per edge. Needs sign-in and a linked Telegram.
📋 The 5-Step Analysis Guide, automated — The five-step reading protocol on each racecard is now a one-tap starter edge: the 5-Step Qualifier checks the AI score, suitability, pace, market move and the 🎯 rank check for you, and can alert you near the off. Being straight about the bar: it fires at 4 of the 5 steps, not all five. We replayed the composite over 73 days of real cards using the market exactly as it stood four minutes before each off, and all five aligned once. A rule that fires once a quarter isn't a feature, so four is the bar — and the steps passed (0–5) field is in the builder if you want to set your own. Like every angle here it's a shortlist to research, not a profit system.
⚡ Your edges, across the whole day — The Edges page now shows, next to every edge, how many horses qualify today — so you can see at a glance that it's a 73-runner day for Well Handicapped and a 3-runner day for Class Plunge. Tick any combination and the matching horses are listed for you. Better still, every race header on the racecards now carries a ⚡ count of how many runners in that race fire your edges, so you can scan the whole card and spot the races worth opening — before you open anything. And if you build your own edge, it now lights up as a chip on every runner it matches. Edges are research shortcuts, not tips.
💰 New shortlists on the Value board — Today's Value board gains 🏁 Front runners, 📏 Distance winners, 🥇 Last-time winners and 🏇 In-form jockeys alongside the originals. Each opens into the day's qualifiers, ranked, with a link straight to the race — and the ⚡ Find bar gained matching one-tap filters. Signals to research, not tips.
🔥 Sires in Form — The sires hub now opens with a 14-day leaderboard of the sire lines whose runners have been beating market expectations, with the strike rate and A/E behind each one. Every sire shown clears a minimum sample, so it's a read on which lines are firing right now — not a one-run fluke.
📋 Clearer about our pick log — We've reworded how we describe the daily pick log on the How we test page. It's a hash chain anyone can recompute to confirm no earlier day was altered — an internal consistency check. It doesn't by itself prove publication time, so we no longer imply that it does. Picks still go up before the off and we still don't change them.
🏷️ More edge chips on every runner — The context chips on each racecard runner have been broadened well beyond the original handful. Alongside ⚖️ Well Handicapped and 🏆 C&D Winner you'll now spot 🎯 Below Winning Mark, 📏 Distance Winner, 🏃 Race Fit, 🌱 Lightly Raced, 💧 Going Specialist, 🥇 Last-Time Winner, 🔋 Winner on a Break, 🏁 Front Runner, ⏳ Hold-Up, 🐎 Top Yard Sole Runner, 🏇 In-Form Jockey, ⏬ Class Plunge, 🎖️ Pattern Dropper, 📉 Mark Drops, ↗️ Mark on the Up, 🔀 Going Versatility, 🗓️ Seasonal Debut and 🤝 Jockey Reunited — plus two amber caution chips, 🥶 Cold Jockey and ⚠️ Unproven on Going. Every stat-based chip only fires once there's a real sample behind it (no one-run flukes), and each links to a plain-English explanation in Help. Context to speed up your form study — never a betting tip.
💷 My Bets — your own staking journal — New My Bets page: log your own bets straight from any racecard runner (tap 💷) and they auto-settle from official results — running P&L, ROI and strike rate, with Win, Place and Each-Way all handled. It's your private record, honest about losing runs, and synced across devices when you sign in. Your record, not betting advice. 18+ · BeGambleAware.
🏁 Results settle the same afternoon — Pick results now settle within ~20 minutes of each race instead of waiting for the late-evening job: the results scoreboard, the Today tally, and the AI Scorecard page (which now shows today as soon as the first pick settles, with day-by-day browsing) all agree in near-real-time. The homepage Banker of the Day shows its result on the card the moment its race is official — and previews tomorrow's banker in the evening. Race times on the results page also now match the card (they were showing an hour early).
🎯 A more honest value signal — The old percentage "edge" chips over-promised and have gone. In their place: a factual rank-mismatch chip — 🎯 Mkt #6 · AI #1 — shown only when the AI ranks a horse three or more places higher than the morning market does. The Value tab now compares AI rank vs market rank directly. A comparison, not a probability.
📱 Better on your phone — Expanding a runner now shows the full detail panel on-screen (no more sideways hunting), buttons and filter pills are properly tappable, the menu scrolls, and switching comparison tabs no longer jumps you away from the race you were reading. Dark mode's white footer is fixed too.
🔒 Privacy policy — A plain-English privacy policy: what we hold (very little), why, and how to have it deleted. Linked from every footer.
🏇 A proper Tactical Pace Map on every race — We've rebuilt the pace map on the racecards. Instead of a rough chart, the field now lays out in clean run-style lanes — Leaders → Prominent → Midfield → Closers — each horse a token showing its stall number, colour-coded by running style, with the likely race shape and confirmed front-runner count called up top. And a ⚡ flags the field's strongest finishing kicks from our sectional data — so you can see at a glance not just who leads, but who quickens best late. A race-shape guide, not a tip.
📊 How accurate is the AI, really? — now on the homepage — The homepage now opens with the honest accuracy of the AI's picks, unedited: how often the winner lands in our top 3, how often the top pick finishes in the frame (win or place), and its outright win rate — across every settled pick. It's a reliable shortlist that saves you the form study, not a profit promise; we track the market rather than beat it, and we publish the losing days too. Full honest record →
🌱 Emerging — unexposed horses by black-type sires — The racecards ⚡ Find bar gains a 🌱 Emerging quick filter: lightly-raced (≤3 runs), young (≤4yo) horses whose sire has a proven record of producing G1/G2/G3/Listed winners. It's the classic unexposed-upside profile — too little form to judge on yet, but a pedigree that says there could be more to come. An angle to research, not a tip.

June 2026

🏁 See how yesterday's AI verdicts settled — Today now opens with a one-line recap of how the previous day's race verdicts landed — how many of the AI's top picks won — and the Verdicts hub highlights the latest settled day up top. Trainer and jockey profiles also gained an "In recent AI verdicts" list linking to the races their winners featured in. Neutral analysis, not a betting recommendation.
🏟️ Most active trainers & jockeys at each course — Every racecourse page now lists the trainers and jockeys with the most runners there over recent weeks — a quick read on who's busy at the track, each linking straight to their profile.
🔝 Top AI picks — straight to your phone — Turn on the Top-AI browser push in your Profile and each morning you'll get the day's strongest picks by name (ranked by the flagship The Racing Formula model). Opt-in, free, neutral analysis — not betting advice.
🔥 Daily check-in streak — The homepage now tracks how many days in a row you've checked in. Pop back each day to build your streak — a little nudge to keep on top of the cards.
⭐ Stable alerts that actually ping you — Star a horse, trainer, jockey or sire in My Stable, enable browser push in your Profile, and now when one of them is declared in today's card you'll get a notification that morning — straight to your phone or desktop. The toggle was there; now it fires.
📧 Daily AI picks by email — Prefer your inbox to Telegram? Pop your email in on the homepage and get the day's top AI picks each morning — free, one tap to confirm, unsubscribe any time. Neutral analysis, not betting advice.
🎉 Share your winning days — When the AI's top pick lands, the homepage recap now celebrates it with a one-tap "Share the win" card. Every shared link is tracked so we can see what spreads — and keep making more of it.
🗞️ AI race verdicts — now a permanent, searchable archive — Every race already gets a neutral AI preview written before the off; now they're kept as permanent pages paired with the settled result. Browse them on the new Verdicts hub, or land straight on any race's preview + result — each links through to the course, trainer, jockey and sire involved. Neutral analysis, not a betting recommendation.
🗺️ Race-Shape read on every race — Expand a race and the 🤖 AI Race Preview now adds a SHAPE line: a plain-English read of how the race should be run, combining the projected pace with the course-and-distance draw bias (e.g. "a strong gallop should suit hold-up runners · low draws favoured here"). Descriptive race-reading — not a betting recommendation.
🧬 Fuller Pedigree Fit panel on the racecard — The 🧬 Pedigree fit line on each runner now expands into a panel: tier & score, confidence, the key breeding insights, any red flags and the sire-line trend — depth that used to live only in the Breeding Lab, now right on the card. Display-only pedigree context, not an edge claim.
📈 "Are the morning prices honest?" calibration curve — The Transparency page gains a second reliability chart: when a runner's morning price implies an X% chance, it wins about X% of the time — the points hug the diagonal across ~46,000 runners. Proof the numbers we show are well-calibrated. Calibration means the numbers are honest, not that following them turns a profit.
⚡ Value Board on the homepage — today's angles at a glance — The homepage now opens with a live count of the value angles firing across today's card — ⚖️ Well-in, 🏆 C&D winners, ⬇️ class droppers, 🔥 steamers and 👓 first-time headgear — each a one-tap chip that drops you into the racecards already filtered to those horses. The fastest way to see where the day's angles are. Observational, not a betting recommendation.
⭐ Your runners today — on the homepage — Follow a horse, trainer, jockey or sire and the homepage now shows which of them run today — time, course and AI Score — right at the top, so your morning scan is personal from the first glance. Nothing followed yet? A one-tap prompt gets you started. Syncs across devices when you're signed in.
💷 Smart Money chip on the racecards — When a race favourite is also attracting strong, confident market support since this morning, the racecards now flag it with a 💷 Smart Money chip — a read on where the live market is piling in, tapping through to the full movement on The Market Formula. It's a market-movement signal only and never touches the AI Score, which stays on the morning price. Observational, not a betting recommendation.
📸 Share how the AI did — plus a results page to link to — The homepage recap gains a 📸 Share result button that turns the day's AI record into a clean image to share, and there's a new AI Scorecard page you can link to for any day: how the top-rated pick performed, every runner's outcome and the honest strike rate — losing days included, settled automatically from official results. Observational, not a betting recommendation.
🐴 Meet the The Racing Formula model — now the default AI Score, plus Top AI Picks — Our flagship machine-learning model is now front and centre: the headline AI Score across the site comes from the The Racing Formula model, which scores every runner in every race. We've also slimmed the model menu to the three that earn their place — The Racing Formula, Field Edge and Sectionals — and retired the rest from the picker (they still run quietly as controls). And Today now opens with Today's Top AI Picks: the model's highest-confidence runners (its NAP & Next Best). As always — a better pointer, not a profit promise; the honest record lives on Performance.
🔁 Default AI tip switched to Field Edge — We checked every model variant's record month by month, and our old default (the original Baseline model) turned out to be the weakest at actually finding winners. So the headline AI Score across the site now uses our Field Edge model instead: its top pick wins more often (~25% vs the old 19%), and the winner sits in its top 3 about half the time (vs ~42%). The Baseline model still runs quietly behind the scenes as our control, so we can keep comparing. As always — a better pointer, not a profit promise; the honest, unedited record (still under water at level stakes) lives on Performance.
🥇 Edges — two new last-time-form angles — The Edges builder gains a Won last time out filter, plus two one-tap starter templates: Last-Time Winner (won on their most recent start) and Beaten Favourite (sent off favourite last time but didn't win) — both in the new Last-time form quick-add bundle. Observational, a way to find horses worth a closer look, not a betting recommendation.
👋 While you were away — your saved picks, settled — Come back after a day or two and Today now greets you with how the picks you bookmarked actually did while you were gone — ✅ winners and ❌ also-rans with their finishing position, settled automatically from official results. Shown once, then it moves on. Observational, not a betting recommendation.
⚡ Edges — AI score on every match — Your Edges matches (and the racecards ⚡ Find list) now show each horse's AI Score right on the row, next to its odds — so you can see at a glance which of your angle's matches the model also rates highly.
🟢 Freshness badge on the racecards — The racecards now carry a small badge showing how many meetings are covered and when the card was generated — and it clearly flags the provisional overnight build before the final morning card lands, so you always know exactly what you're looking at.
🏁 Live results on the racecard — see how the AI pick did — Once a race on today's racecards has been run, the card now stamps the result inline: who won, and whether the AI's top-rated pick landed it (✅) or not (❌), with its finishing position. No more switching to the results page — the card closes the loop where you're already looking. Settles automatically from live official results; observational, not a betting recommendation.
⚡ Racecards — instant first load of the day — Your first visit each day used to mean a few seconds of skeleton while the daily security check ran. Now, if you visited yesterday, the racecards show yesterday's card instantly — clearly dimmed and labelled — and swap to today's the moment it arrives.
📈 Performance — per-variant daily curves — The variant table on Performance now drills down: tap 📈 on any model variant for its day-by-day cumulative notional P&L curve plus a monthly picks/wins/P&L table (£10 level stakes, settled picks only). Published unedited — most variants are under water and the curves show it, because that's the whole point of the page.
🔍 Search on every page + runner pedigree at a glance — The site-wide search (horses, trainers, jockeys, sires, courses) now lives in the header of every page — tap 🔍 or press Ctrl+K. Expanding any runner on the racecards now shows its 🧬 Pedigree fit: the breeding model's tier and score with a real data insight (e.g. the sire's actual strike rate), linking straight into the Breeding Lab. Long pages also get a floating ↑ back-to-top button.
🏠 Homepage: next off, today so far & honest pick stats — The homepage now shows the next five races with live countdowns (one tap straight into the racecard) and, once results start settling, a live "Today: 2W · 5L" line for the AI's top picks. The AI Picks headline stats were reframed to what actually matters: top-pick win rate, how often the winner sits in our top 3, your last-30-days record, and the lifetime notional P&L at £10 level stakes — published unedited, losing runs included.
📸 Fresh homepage screenshots + zoom — The homepage "See it in action" gallery now shows the site as it is today — including the new value filters and the honest performance numbers — with the 🧬 Pedigree Lab added as a fourth shot. Click any screenshot to zoom it full-size (Esc closes). They're captured by a repeatable script now, so they can't quietly go stale again.
📊 Yesterday at a glance — The homepage now opens with an automatic recap of how yesterday's AI top-rated picks actually did — wins, places, strike rate and the notional £10-level-stakes result — with every winner named and linked. Losing days show in red, exactly as they happened: the track record is the product, so we publish it daily, good or bad. The morning Telegram briefing carries the same one-liner, and the full history lives on Performance.
⭐ Fixed: your Stable is back in the morning briefing — A sync bug meant the daily Telegram briefing couldn't see anyone's Stable, so the "Your horses / trainer runners" section never appeared. That's fixed — starred horses, trainers, jockeys and sires now show up when they're declared, and starred broodmares now match too ("out of" your dam). Manage it from your Profile Telegram preferences.
⚡ Find bar — Well-in, C&D winner & Steamers one-tap filters — The Find bar on the racecards and Today pages gains three new quick filters: ⚖️ Well-in (RP-rated 10lb+ above their official mark, or racing below their last winning mark), 🏆 C&D winner (won over today's exact course and distance before) and 🔥 Steamers (strong market support since this morning). One tap narrows the whole day to horses with a handicap edge or market backing — observational, not a betting recommendation. The racecards page also dropped a redundant ~1MB background download, so today's card lands faster on mobile.
⚡ Faster, clearer loading — The one-off daily browser check now shows a small "Verifying your browser…" note instead of looking stuck, gives up and recovers much faster if it hiccups, and we've removed background requests that competed with the racecards on every page load. Under the hood, a security upgrade means injected scripts are now blocked outright.
🧬 Breeding Lab — Mating Lab (sire × mare) — A new Mating tab: pick a broodmare to see every foal she's produced and the sire of each — the actual matings — then add a stallion to grade the bloodline cross (A++→D), flag inbreeding, and list the sires that have nicked best with her sire-line. The mare's foals by your chosen stallion are highlighted at the top. Covers ~29,000 UK & Irish broodmares.
👶 Broodmare (dam) profile pages — 250 new pages — Every prolific UK & Irish broodmare now has her own indexable page: foals to race, individual winners, progeny strike rate, earnings index, black-type producer rate and family quality, with a deep link into her live production list in the Breeding Lab. Browse them all on the new Dams A–Z hub — alongside the existing Sires and Damsires directories.
🔎 Breeding Lab — filter & sort today's pedigree scores — The Breeding Lab Today tab now has a filter bar: narrow the day by meeting, going, trip, minimum rating (Average+/Strong+/Elite only) or confidence, and sort the meetings by time or best-bred first. A live counter shows how many runners and races match. Fastest way to scan hundreds of scored runners down to the well-bred ones for today's conditions.
🔬 Performance is now a Transparency page — We tested our AI honestly against tens of thousands of results, and we're upfront about what we found: it ranks races sensibly but tracks the market rather than beating it — so we don't sell tips, a "verified P&L", or a profit promise. The Performance page now explains how we test (with our hash-chained pick log), and the site leans into what it's really for: the deepest free analysis tools in UK racing.
🔔 Browser push now fires — and follows you across devices — The morning "today's AI picks are ready" browser alert now reliably reaches your browser each morning, and turning push on at a second device no longer disconnects the first — every device is remembered against your account. Enable or manage it on your Profile page. Works on this device's browser, separate from Telegram.
🔗 Edges — share an edge with a link — Built a clever angle? Hit Share in the builder to copy a link — anyone who opens it can add your exact edge to their own list in one tap. The edge travels inside the link itself, so there's nothing to set up.
📁 Edges — saved sets (collections) — Keep different angle sets for different racing and switch between them in a tap. Build "Saturday handicaps", "AW sprints", "Jumps days" — each remembers its own ticked edges, and the active set drives Today, the racecards Find bar and your Edges matches. New / rename / delete on the Edges page; synced to your account.
⚡ Edges — starter templates & one-tap bundles — New to Edges? Each starter angle in the builder now has a plain-English description of what it finds, and the Edges page has one-tap Quick add bundles — Handicap angles, Trip & class, Pedigree, Sharp & fit — that activate a curated set instantly. Plus three new pedigree/sectional templates (Sire Suits Going, Sire Suits Trip, Fast Sectional).
🔔 Edges — morning Telegram alerts — Toggle Alert me each morning on any of your Edges and you'll get a Telegram each morning listing the horses that edge has flagged on today's card ("🔁 Trip Back — 6 horses…"). Works off the Telegram you've already linked — no re-linking. Observational, not a betting recommendation.
⚡ Edges — sort your matches — The matches list on Edges and the racecards ⚡ Find bar now has a Sort control: by most edges hit (default), next off (race time), odds, distance or AI score. Your choice is remembered across visits. (The consensus tiers — "3 of 3", "2 of 3" — show only in the default "most edges" order.)
⚡ Edges — friendlier builder — The Edges builder is easier to use: a grouped field picker (40+ fields organised by Form, Class, Trip, Pedigree, Connections and more, so you can jump to the group you want), a live plain-English summary of your rule as you build it ("Finds horses where class drop ≥ 1 AND sire win % on going ≥ 18"), a one-tap Duplicate, and a proper full-screen sheet on mobile.
⚡ Edges — see why each horse matched — Every horse in your Edges matches now has a Why button. Tap it to see the actual numbers behind the angle — "class C4→C5", "RPR 78 vs OR 70", "sire 19% on soft", "last 3 trips 20f→16f, today 16f" — plus its recent form and a link to the horse's profile. No more guessing what triggered a match. Works on the Edges page and the racecards ⚡ Find list.
⚡ Edges — 17 new fields to build angles from — The Edges builder just got much deeper. New filters: sire win % on today's going & distance (pedigree suitability), trainer & jockey course records + jockey-for-this-trainer %, sectionals (top speed, acceleration, sectional-vs-par), draw, days since last win, trip change vs last run, age × distance bias, career wins at the course, and your AI score — grouped under Connections, Pedigree, Sectionals and Race in the field picker. The kind of data you won't find in any other rule builder.
⚡ Edges — build your own horse-finding angles — A brand-new Edges page lets you build your own rules to find horses: pick a field (class drop, trip back, well-handicapped, going, days since run, and lots more), an operator and a value, combine a few with AND/OR, name it and save. Tick your edges as chips and the matching horses appear instantly — grouped by how many of your edges each one hits (✅ all 3, 🔥 2 of 3…). The very same edges drive a ⚡ Edges section on Today and a ⚡ Find bar + per-race Edges tab on the racecards, so you can filter the whole day down to your own angles and jump straight to any race. Build and preview freely; sign in to save your edges. Observational — a way to find horses worth a closer look, not a betting recommendation. How Edges work →
📈 Race Stats tab — trainer & jockey records for the race — Expand any race and there's a new Race Stats tab showing every trainer and jockey with a runner in that race: last-14-day and overall wins-to-runs, strike rate, and level-stakes profit. Pulled straight from Racing Post's own figures, so it carries race-type and profit splits our weekly lookup doesn't. Appears once the morning scrape has run.
🏆 Past Winners now sits with the AI Race Preview — Past Winners has moved up into the 🤖 AI Race Preview widget at the top of each race, with a one-line "most recent winner" summary right next to PACE, TOP AI and ANGLE — and the full last-decade table nested directly underneath. No more scrolling past the field to find it.
✓ AI consensus chip on the runner row — Runners now carry a small ✓ N/10 chip showing how many of the 10 AI variants rate them highly (≥65). Green when 4+ agree, bolder at 6+, and a ↕ flag when the variants strongly disagree — the same consensus signal from the Variants tab, now visible right in the field on both table and card views.
⚖️ Value of the day on the Today page — A new section on Today lists every runner carrying a value angle — Well In (RPR well above its mark), C&D Winner, or Class Drop — with a filter to switch between them. Fastest way to scan the whole day for favourably-handicapped horses. Observational, not a betting recommendation.
★ Bookmark a pick from the race preview — The TOP AI line in each race's AI Preview now has a bookmark star, so you can save a horse straight from the racecard. Saved picks show on your My Stable page and sync across devices when you're signed in.
🧭 Browse popular form pages from the homepage — The homepage now has an Explore block with quick links to popular racecourses, leading trainers and top jockeys, so you (and search engines) can reach any form page in one hop.

May 2026

🤝 Consensus Picks page — A brand new Consensus page surfaces runners where 4 or more of our 10 AI variants agree on the same horse. Three views: Consensus (4+ models in the top tier), Strong consensus (6+ agree — high conviction), and Contrarian (≥70-point spread with at least one variant rating ≥70 — the model-disagreement outlier picks). Every card shows all 10 variant scores side-by-side so you can see exactly where the agreement is.
📅 My Stable — Timeline tab — A new tab on the My Stable page that pivots your starred horses, trainers and jockeys into today's runners in race-time order. The default "Stable" view still groups by entity; the Timeline view tells you exactly what to watch and when, with AI score, jockey and trainer links per row.
🔔 Browser push notifications — full control — A new Browser Push card on your Profile page with one-click enable/disable and four preference toggles: morning briefing when today's picks publish, stable runner declared, top-AI alert (any runner scoring ≥75 on your variant), steamer alert on starred horses. Works on this device's browser — separate from Telegram.
📖 Glossary — every term in plain English — A new dedicated Glossary page with 31 terms across 6 sections (AI & scoring, ratings & speed, race conditions, runner angles, market, pedigree) plus a 6-question troubleshooting section. Live search filter. Marked up with DefinedTermSet schema so Google can surface individual definitions.
🎩 Trainer + 🏇 Jockey profile pages — 200 new pages — Every UK & Irish trainer (top 120) and jockey (top 80) by recent runner count now has their own indexable page: recent runners, courses targeted/ridden, most-used pairing partners, plus a deep link to their live profile. A–Z hub indexes both. Built daily from the last 21 days of racecards.
🧬 Sire + 👑 Damsire profile pages — 160 new pages — Top 100 active UK & Irish sires and 60 damsires now have their own indexable page: overall win rate, going + distance breakdown, IV-ranked course angles, 2yo & debut stats. Pulled from the same canonical pedigree library that powers Breeding Lab.
📈 Performance — all 10 variants visible — The Performance page variants section now correctly reflects all 10 scoring variants (was previously labelled "7 parallel"). Cross-links into the new Consensus view so you can see today's agreement before you read the historical track record.
🇮🇪 Irish course pages signal Ireland to search engines — All 23 Irish racecourse pages (Curragh, Leopardstown, Galway, Punchestown etc.) now carry en_IE locale and geo.region=IE meta, so search engines can target Irish punters for those URLs instead of dumping them all under the UK signal. UK course pages stay en_GB with an alternate locale flag.
⚡ Text shows immediately on slow connections — Font loading switched from optional to swap across all 17 v2 HTML files. On a flaky 3G train ride you'll now see your racecard text immediately in the system font while the custom font loads in the background, instead of staring at a blank-ish page.
🔍 Sharper structured data on horse / jockey / trainer pages — Dynamic entity pages now inject BreadcrumbList + ProfilePage / Person JSON-LD after the name loads, and mark themselves noindex when no name is supplied — so the empty shell never gets indexed alongside the populated profile URLs.
🏆 Course Specialists Today — Course profile pages now show, between the topography card and the profile-fit panel, a short list of today's runners with a prior win at this course. Each row carries W/R, win %, race time and morning odds — fastest way to spot horses that have already proven they handle this track.
↗ Past Winners — per-row Racing Post deep-link — Every year in the Past Winners table now carries a small arrow next to the year that opens that exact renewal's result page on Racing Post in a new tab. Lets you cross-reference any year's race comments or sectional times in one click.
Trainer / Jockey 14-Day rows hide when data is missing — Yesterday's fix to the jockey row also applied to the trainer row and to the horse profile page. No more "0/0 (—)" or "undefined/undefined" appearing when the scraper has nothing for that 14-day window.
🏆 Past Winners — always visible on every race — When you expand a race card, you'll now see a Past Winners collapsible right above the field — no more digging through the perspective tabs to find it. Lists the last decade of renewals with our own horse/jockey/trainer profile links, plus a Racing Post cross-link. Hidden silently when the race has no annual running.
🏞️ Topography card redesigned — Course profile topography section now uses a cleaner two-row chip split (character on top, warnings below), with Stamina and Pace meters laid out side-by-side as proper aligned pip bars. The "Plays similarly to" line gets its own labelled section. Bath, Brighton and other tracks with sparse warn flags no longer look half-empty.
🏞️ Topography on Today page — The Banker of the Day banner and every Top Pick row now carry the course's topography summary inline (handedness · gallop · stamina · pace), so you can spot mis-matched runners without leaving the page.
🏞️ Topography line on every race header — Every race on Racecards and Today now carries a one-liner under the course name describing the track: handedness, gallop character, finish profile, stamina & pace demand. Hover for the full breakdown including curator notes. Tap the chip to jump straight to the course's Topography section. Same signal that the ML model uses, now front-and-centre.
🏞️ Top Profile Fits panel on course profiles — Course profile pages now compute, for each runner racing there today, how well their past form correlates with topographically similar venues — and surface the top 5 fits. A horse with three wins at Pontefract/Brighton/Epsom (stamina + uphill) gets flagged before running at Ascot. Score is 0–100; only 55+ shows. Pure suitability signal, completely orthogonal to price.
🏞️ Profile fit chip on individual runners — On any racecard, runners whose past form clusters at courses topographically similar to today's track now carry a Profile fit ⭐ / ⭐⭐ chip in the form-pill row. Built from the same 9-field course vector as the topography line. Skipped silently when sample is too thin to be meaningful.
🏞️ Course profile topography card expanded — The Topography card on every course page now also exposes stiffness, undulation, plus 5-pip meters for stamina demand and pace demand. New "Plays similarly to" line lists the three closest courses by topography — useful for finding form translation routes (e.g. wins at Brighton often translate to Epsom).
🏁 Structured form chips on every runner — Each horse name now carries small chips for Racing Post's structured form codes: BF (beaten favourite last time), CD (won at this course AND distance), C (won at this course), D (won over this distance). Replaces the old text-mined approach with cleaner, tooltip-explained labels that match what you see on RP's own cards.
🇮🇪 Country-of-bred flag on foreign runners — Horses bred outside GB now carry a flag emoji next to their name (🇮🇪 / 🇫🇷 / 🇺🇸 / 🇩🇪 etc.). GB-bred horses stay flag-free so foreign breeding stands out at a glance. Useful spotting raids and stakes-quality imports.
📜 Past Winners tab on race detail — A new Past Winners perspective tab appears on races with a track record on file. Shows the last decade of renewals — year, winner, age, weight, SP, jockey, trainer, RPR — with deep-links to each full profile. Brilliant for spotting "this race always goes to a 5-year-old chaser" patterns.
💨 Situational chips: Wind op · 1st with jockey · 1st as gelding — Three new conditional chips on the runner row when the data fires: Wind op (wind surgery noted), 1st w/ J (first time this horse-jockey combo), 1st gelded (first run after gelding). Each often the difference between an unexplained improver and a known angle.
⚖️ Weight cell shows apprentice claim & penalty — The weight pill on each runner now annotates the claim (−3 for an apprentice 3lb claim) and the penalty (+5 for a recent-win penalty) inline. No more cross-referencing the racecard PDF.
🏷️ Race category chip in the header — Race headers now carry a category chip (Mdn, Nov, Hcap etc.) alongside the existing class chip, so race classification is visible without parsing the race name.
🧬 Pedigree tab on every racecard — Expand any runner and there's a new Pedigree tab in the perspective row. Six race-fit signals at a glance: sire on today's going, today's distance, today's race grade, this horse's age, the sire × damsire cross shrunk strike rate, and the dam's offspring strike. Each cell deep-links into the Breeding Lab for the full sire/cross profile. Backed by the same canonical pedigree library that powers Breeding Lab — now race-context aware.
🧬 Pedigree depth in runner details — Expanded view of every runner now carries a collapsible 🧬 Pedigree depth section: sire breakdown by race grade (G1/G2/G3/Listed/Hcap with W/R), sire by horse age (2yo/3yo/4yo/5+), this jockey × sire record, this trainer × sire record. All gated on minimum sample sizes — no noise from tiny n.
Jockey + Trainer tabs go lifetime — The Jockey and Trainer perspective tabs used to show only last-14-day form. Now each tab adds three columns: Lifetime W%, course Δ (better/worse at this course vs lifetime average), and × Sire (this jockey/trainer's record on this sire's offspring). Surfaces hot-jockey-at-this-course / trainer-loves-this-sire angles that 14-day stats miss.
🏞️ Course Topography on course profiles — Course profile pages now show a Topography card under Track Bias: handedness, gallop character (sharp/tight/fair/galloping/extra), uphill or downhill finish, bend sharpness, big-fence indicator, with a human-readable note. Covers 93 UK & IRE courses. Helps explain WHY a course suits certain horses beyond the draw bias.
Damsire fit chip + sire × damsire cross signal — The Pedigree Fit chip in the runner detail panel now also shows damsire overall strike rate (≥1k sample) and a cross chip when the sire × damsire combination has ≥30 runs in history (with shrunk rate and baseline tooltip). Green if the cross beats both parents' baselines, red if it lags.
🆕 Variant J — Field Edge (v2) — A tenth AI variant added to the catalogue. Field Edge scores each runner on nine race-context components: rating z-score vs field, day-level class strength, jockey lifetime form + course bonus, trainer lifetime form + course bonus, sire suitability (going + distance + course), dam strike rate, draw bias, this-horse-at-this-course form, and form momentum. Useful in deep handicaps where absolute rating misses the relative angle. Pick it on the Methodology page. Live P&L tracking active.
Canonical pedigree enrichment — Under the hood: every runner in the slim racecard is now joined against the canonical pedigree + connections library at enrichment time. Lifetime jockey/trainer win rates, course Δ, sire × going + distance + course, dam offspring stats, sire × race grade, sire × age, sire × damsire cross, jockey × sire, trainer × sire — all pre-joined per runner and used by Variant J and the new chips/tabs. No extra fetches at page load.
🔍 Site-wide search — The search box used to only work on the racecards page. It now works on every page, and finds any horse — over 120,000 UK & IRE horses indexed — plus all 160 courses, even when you're nowhere near today's card. Type from a horse profile, a results page, the homepage, anywhere — jump straight to the right profile.
⭐ My Stable follows you across devices — Followed horses, trainers, jockeys and your private notes now sync to your account. Add a horse on your phone in the paddock, open the laptop at home and it's already there. Stays in your browser too, so nothing's lost if you're signed out. Requires a free sign-in.
📶 Faster racecards at the track — Racecards, Sectionals pages and the live P&L banner now load instantly from your phone's cache on repeat visits, with a fresh copy pulled in the background. Built for patchy 4G in the stands.
🛟 Live odds bounce back from blips — Previously, a single network hiccup could leave the live odds column blank for the rest of the session. The 30-second refresh now recovers cleanly on the next tick.
🆕 Variant I — Pace & Sectional Edge — A ninth AI variant added to the catalogue, Flat-focused, built on three signals not used by the other variants: pace × style fit (classifies the race's projected pace shape from field running comments, then scores each horse against the fit — closers in hot pace, lone speed up front), finishing-speed bonus from sectional FSP (a horse that holds its peak speed late gets a boost), and a linear-regression momentum slope on the last five RPRs. Falls back to Variant A on NH racing. Pick it on the Methodology page. Live P&L starts tracking from today.
🧠 Pick your AI scoring variant — There are eight AI scoring variants — each tests a different hypothesis (form is king, speed edge, draw matters, kitchen sink, etc). Until today the AI Score column was always Variant A. Now you can pick which variant powers the score column on your racecards. The 🧠 AI chip in the header on Today, AI Picks and Racecards links to the new 🧠 Methodology page where every variant is explained alongside its live track record. Your pick syncs across devices if you've linked Telegram.
🧠 Methodology page — open by default — New Methodology page lays out exactly what each AI variant is testing and how it has performed. We're framed for what we are (a horse racing intelligence network — data, ratings, AI signals) and what we aren't (a tipping service, a paid product, a black box). Every variant's hypothesis, win rate, P&L and ROI is shown side by side.
Per-runner scores for all 8 variants on every racecard — Under the hood, each runner in the slim racecard JSON now carries scores for all eight variants (A through H). When you switch variant from the methodology page, every score on every racecard updates instantly — no reload needed.
Glossary popovers in-page — Clicking any angle badge (Class Dropper, Trainer Hotspot etc) now shows a small inline definition popover instead of opening the Help page in a new tab. Ctrl-click still opens Help if you want the full glossary entry. Press Esc to close.
Today: market movers row enhanced — The Today page Steamers & Drifters lists now show top 3 model angles inline per runner, plus the same clickable chip → The Market Formula used elsewhere on the site. Cleanly consistent with the rest of the chips.
Performance variants: hover for the full story — Hover any variant row on the Performance page to see the full hypothesis, sample size, and small-n caveat where applicable.
Search: keyboard hint & recent searches — The Search box now shows a small ⌘ K hint. Focus the empty box and your last 5 searches appear as quick chips.
Compare runners hint — Each race card now reminds you about the tick-and-compare flow inline — tick 2-4 runners, press 📐 Angles, side-by-side comparison.
Sitewide search expanded — The search box on Racecards & Breeding Lab now finds horses, sires, damsires, trainers, jockeys AND courses across today's data. Each result carries a category chip (🏇 Horse · 🧬 Sire · 🎩 Trainer · 🏆 Jockey · 🏟️ Course) and routes to the right profile page on click. Keyboard shortcut Ctrl+K to focus.
AI Picks: agreement chips on every top pick — The top AI pick on the Predictions page now carries the same 🥇🔥 AI + Market agree / ⚠️🥇 AI pick drifting / 🥇🔥🧬 AI + Market + Pedigree chip seen on racecards, when conditions fire. Same data, same surfaces.
My Stable: today's signals on saved horses — When a saved horse runs today, the Stable page now shows live steamer/drifter chips and a 🧬 best-bred flag inline next to the AI score & odds. No more clicking through to find out if your stable horse is the one the market is backing.
Horse profile: Breeding Lab quick-link — Horse profile pages now have a prominent CTA in the Breeding card. If the horse runs today, it jumps straight to the per-race pedigree report; otherwise to the sire's overall record.
Performance: small-n warning on variants — Model variants with fewer than 50 settled picks now carry an amber ⚠ small n (N) chip, and their ROI is muted to a neutral colour. Stops a 24-pick variant with +200% ROI from looking like a winner.
Triple agreement chip (AI + Market + Pedigree) — When the AI top pick is also steaming AND is the best-bred runner in its race, you'll see a single super-chip: 🥇🔥🧬 AI + Market + Pedigree · X%. Rare overlap, strongest single-runner signal on the site.
Today: WHY & RISK on every pick row — The Today page picks now show the top 3 model angles (Course Specialist · Trainer Hotspot · Class Dropper, etc) and any RISK signal inline. Same reasoning surface as AI Picks, now on the most-used page.
Breeding Lab deep-links from racecards — Clicking the per-race 🧬 best-bred chip on a racecard now jumps straight to that race in Breeding Lab Today, with a brief cyan highlight so you can't miss it.
Smarter Track Bias chip — Instead of generic "Favs N%", race headers now name the actionable draw bias: 🎯 High (9+) +2.6% · 🎯 Mid (5-8) +2.2%. Shows you which draw is over-performing vs the average at this course/distance bracket.
Glossary deep-links from badges — Angle badges (Course Specialist · Class Dropper · Well Handicapped · Fresh · etc) and the "What do the badges mean?" legend now link straight to the relevant Help glossary entry in a new tab. Hover, click, learn — without losing your racecard scroll.
Quick glossary of terms — The Help page now opens with a 36-entry glossary covering every signal, badge and stat on the site. Use Ctrl+F to find anything fast — AI Score, OR/RPR/TS, drop_pct, Value Edge, EW, Class Dropper, Track Bias, pedigree tiers, the lot.
AI Picks: Why & Risk per pick — Every pick card now shows a WHY row (top 3 model angles like Course Specialist · Trainer Hotspot · Class Dropper) and a RISK row when one applies (long absence, 1st-time headgear, class step-up). No more guessing what the model saw.
AI Picks: result badges — Every pick now gets a settled-result badge: 🤖 ✓ WON / PLACED / LOST / ⏳ PENDING. Auto-refreshes — no need to reload the page after a race finishes.
Track Bias chip on racecards — Each race header now carries a 🎯 Favs N% or 🎯 Draw bias chip when bias data exists, click to dig into the Track Bias page for that course. Surfaces what was previously buried in the expand drawer.
Results: market signal on winners — Settled races now show a 🔥 next to the AI-rank chip if the winner was steaming pre-race, or ❄ if it was drifting (market doubted it but won anyway). Completes the "did AI + market both spot it?" story.
AI Picks tier rename — The "CONSIDER" and "WATCH" pick tiers have been renamed to ✓ STRONG and ~ DEPTH — neutral, factual labels rather than trading-advice language.
Best-bred runner per race — Every racecard header now shows the strongest pedigree pick for that specific race: 🧬 HorseName · ELITE 92. Pulled from the same daily pedigree report that powers Breeding Lab. Click the chip to open Breeding Lab Today.
AI + Market agree badge — When the AI top pick is also steaming, you'll now see a single combined chip on that runner — 🥇🔥 AI + Market agree · X% — instead of two separate signals. Strong-confluence picks (≥30% steam) pulse.
AI pick drifting warning — The flip side of the above: when the AI top pick is drifting in the market, you get an amber ⚠️🥇 AI pick drifting · X% chip. Useful contrarian signal — "we like it, market doesn't".
AI rank of the winner — Every settled race on the Results page now shows how the AI ranked the actual winner, e.g. AI rank 2/8 · AI 76. See at a glance whether the model spotted it, was close, or missed it entirely.
Steamer & drifter chips on every runner — In the racecard, any horse whose price is moving now carries a 🔥 steaming or ❄ drifting chip showing the % move. Tap any chip to jump straight to The Market Formula for live price history. Big movements (30%+) pulse to catch the eye.
Pedigree deep-links from every runner — In any racecard runner row, click the 🧬 sire or damsire name to open that pedigree directly in the Breeding Lab — no searching.
Proof in plain English — The Performance page now opens with the four rules we hold ourselves to: locked before the off, settled publicly, losers stay visible, no edits after the off. The technical hash-chain proof is still there for anyone who wants it.
Stale data warning — If the morning AI scoring is more than 18 hours old, the timestamp on the racecard turns orange so you know the data may be lagging.
Form Franking — Each horse's recent form now shows who beat them (or who they beat) by name, linked to their horse profile. When that rival is running today and has won since, a green ✓ Won badge appears confirming the form is franked. Amber ◐ Placed shows if they've placed without winning.
Daily Log — Places & Click-to-Expand — The Performance page daily log now shows a Pl column for picks that placed 2nd or 3rd each day. Click any day row to expand it and see every tip from that day — horse, course, AI score, odds, finishing position, and P&L — along with a quick W/Pl/L summary for that day. Individual tips are available for the most recent ~17 days.
SP Result Badges — Picks on the Today page now show WON / 2nd / 3rd / LOST badges automatically after each race settles. No more refreshing the Results page to check.
AI Confidence Filter — New All / 70+ / 80+ buttons above Today picks let you filter down to only the most confident selections.
Morning Price Movement — A ↘ (steaming) or ↗ (drifting) chip on each Today pick compares the morning Betfair price to current. Useful for spotting early movers before you place.
Results Live Badge — A green pulse dot on the Results page confirms auto-refresh is active. It pauses when the tab is in the background to save battery.
Horse Page Track Bias — Visit any horse profile and you'll now see a Track Bias panel for courses where the horse has run 2+ times, showing draw and going stats.
Push Notifications — Opt in on the Today page to get a browser notification when the morning picks are ready. Works on mobile and desktop.
Navigation Improvements — Track Bias, Breeding Lab, Help, and What's New are now grouped under a More menu in the navigation bar.

April 2026

Market Movers — The Today page now shows a live steamers and drifters section, updated every 30 seconds from our Steamer Sniper feed.
Track Bias Page — A brand new dedicated page showing draw advantage by stall, going performance, and favourite win rate broken down by course. Find it under More in the nav.
AI Pick Bookmarks — Star any pick on the Today page to save it to My Stable. Your starred picks persist across sessions.
Daily P&L Log — The Performance page now has a 90-day rolling P&L log and an equity curve so you can see exactly how the AI has been running.

March 2026

AI Score Badges — Every horse on the racecard now shows an AI Score (0–100) as a mini bar plus number. Top picks get gold/silver/bronze left-edge highlights.
Form Dots — At-a-glance coloured circles for the last 6 runs: green for wins, gold for places, grey for unplaced.
Pace Map — Visual diagram of likely race pace shape — who leads, who tracks, who waits. Derived from each runner's historical running style.
Angle Badges — Automatic signal badges on each runner: Course Specialist, Trainer Hotspot, Class Dropper, Well Handicapped, C&D Winner, and more.
7 AI Variants (A–G) — Seven parallel AI hypotheses run on every race: Form is King, Speed Edge, Draw Matters, Going Preference, Quality Filter, and Kitchen Sink. Each has its own P&L tracked on the Performance page.

February 2026

My Stable — Follow horses, trainers, and jockeys. Any horse you star appears in a Today page alert banner when it runs next.
Sectionals — Per-run timing and stride data for UK & Irish flat races: top speed, finishing speed %, vs-par sectionals, stride length, stride frequency, and acceleration from the gate.
Perspective Tabs — Swap the racecard columns by tab: Ground, Course, Distance, C&D, Class, Jockey, Trainer, Speed, Sectionals, Sectionals, Steamer, Bookies.
Smart Filters — Filter any race by going, distance, class, or lookback period. Preset filters include C&D Winners, In-Form, Going Specialists, Class Droppers, Speed Demons.
