Who we are

The Racing Formula is an independent horse-racing data and intelligence project. We run machine-learning models over every UK & Irish race, score every runner, and publish the results — and we test those scores honestly in the open, including where they fall short.

Everything on this site is free to use — there's no paywall and no on-site ads. Some outbound links may be affiliate links, and if you click through and bet we may earn a small commission, but they never affect our scores, tips, or which horses we highlight. We make our money's worth by being useful, not by selling clicks.

What we do — and don't

• Test every scoring variant in the open — including the honest finding that they track the market rather than beating it — see how we test
• We are not a tipping service — we don't tell you what to back
• We make no guaranteed-profit promise — the models lose money some months, and we show it

We're a UK-based project built around British and Irish racing — UK & Irish meetings are our core focus, and the site uses UK date, time and currency conventions throughout.
