The normal TRF racecard — the one most people use every day — is the Default view. It does not change when views are added, and it is what the racecards open in unless you choose otherwise. Everything below is optional.
Views change what each race shows first, and in what order. They never change the data: every view reads the same runners, prices and ratings as Default.
The views
Above the races, the View row switches between them. On a phone it is a single "View: Default" button.

What you can change in My Racecard
Choose Customise My Racecard and you can:
- Show or hide each race section — the draw bias banner, pace verdict, race shape summary, top stats pick, AI race preview, tactical pace map, top three, head-to-head, field comparison, the 5-step analysis guide, track bias, race visualiser and smart filters.
- Move sections up or down, so the card reads in the order you research a race.
- Choose which sections start open and which start closed.
- Switch runner-row details on or off: the age, weight, jockey and trainer line; the rating-trend sparkline; your own race notes; and a highlight for the horses you have starred or are watching.
- Pick Compact or Comfortable spacing.
- Choose the tab races open on.
Changes show on the racecard behind the panel as you make them. Reset My Racecard returns your layout to the recommended starting point, and Switch to Default takes you back to the normal racecard. Neither ever changes the Default racecard itself.
Layouts worth trying
Three starting points, each tied to one way of reading a race:
- Pace first
- Put the pace verdict and the tactical pace map at the top, open, with the draw bias banner under them and the runners next. Good for sprints and small fields — see the pace maps guide.
- Form reader
- Hide the preview and the top three, open head-to-head, and start races on the Suitability tab so the going, course, distance and class records come first. Pairs with how to read horse racing form.
- Market watcher
- Race shape summary, then the runners on the Steamer tab, compact spacing. Read it alongside market movers explained.
Who can use the views
Default is open to everyone. The other views — Quick, Form, Market, Pace & Draw and My Racecard — are there when you are signed in, and your choices are saved to your account. Nothing is remembered unless you ask: after switching view you can choose to open racecards in that view next time, and "Always open in Default" puts it back.
What the views do not do
- They do not add new statistics or change any number — they rearrange what is already on the card.
- They do not change the AI Score or how any race is ranked.
- They apply to the UK and Irish racecards.
